Mycelia Mike LLC was actually founded upon gardening services. Mike has always been an avid gardener and nature enthusiast. But, the whole business began as an environmental endeavor — to turn plant waste into compost. Mike started weeding peoples’ gardens; then bringing the plant debris back home, to decompose with fungi. Within months, the fungi produced rich, fertile compost. This success inspired Mike to call his business Mycelia (fungi) Mike!

With consistent success, Mike eventually began decomposing entire trees with fungi. Thus, our main services now include tree trimming and tree removal. But, Mike never stopped the gardening services either! Mike always says “I was a gardener before I was a tree guy.” And, he’s happy to put his skills to use.
